Jenny Gerner, M.D.


Dr. Jenny Gerner, M.D. is a seasoned physician specializing in internal medicine with a strong foundation in geriatric and palliative care. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, she obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Universidad de la República and further honed her expertise during her internship and residency at Lincoln Medical Hospital in New York.

Dr. Gerner’s career in the United States began as a Clinical Research Coordinator at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, where she focused on endocrinology. She then served as an Attending Physician at Mount Sinai Faculty Practice in New York for nearly a decade, enhancing her clinical skills and contributing to medical education and geriatrics.

Currently, Dr. Gerner practices as an Outpatient Clinician at Westside Family Medicine in New York, where she applies her extensive knowledge and experience to improve patient outcomes. Notably, she has earned accolades for her research, including a first-place award at the 8th Annual Doctor’s Recognition Day for her work on postpartum spontaneous coronary artery dissection.
